Would you like to give your child a place at Louisenlund Primary School? The way to Louisenlund is very straightforward. There are four steps to Louisenlund.

Do you have any questions about the educational programs at our Louisenlund elementary school? Then please contact our primary school office. We will inform you individually and without obligation.

2. introduce yourself

So that we can find out more about you and your child, we need some information from you in step 2. Which class would you like to register your child for, how old is your child, etc.? We will then be happy to reserve your child for elementary school.

Please note the application period for your child's enrollment in grade 1, which closes in the fall of each year. Our school office will be happy to inform you of the exact dates.

3. get to know each other

Take the opportunity to get individual and detailed advice for you and your child during an information day and a visit to the elementary school. Experience the elementary school at first hand. We will then be happy to arrange an appointment with you for an admissions interview. Children who would like to transfer to elementary school during the school year are invited to a taster day.

4. admission to the Louisenlund elementary school

On your way to Louisenlund, you have experienced the innovations and uniqueness of Louisenlund and have decided to allow your child to attend the elementary school. Once you have clarified the contractual formalities with our primary school team, your child can look forward to starting school in Louisenlund. After the school enrolment ceremony, your child will start school life with a great welcome week. During the first weeks of school, we will familiarize your child with our pedagogy and the learning environment and accompany them on their way into the Louisenlund community.

As a state-recognized, private elementary school with an open all-day programme, Louisenlund has created a holistic offer which, in the spirit of the experiential educator Kurt Hahn, sees the school and extracurricular areas as one big whole. Flexible childcare options can be chosen individually after the reliable school hours. At Louisenlund, the children enjoy wholesome meals together during the school day. In the so-called learning time in the afternoon, children are individually supervised and supported with their homework. This is followed by extra-curricular activities: the guilds. The guilds cover a wide range of interests from THW and sports to free play activities.

The Lund Shuttle takes your children comfortably, safely and reliably from collection points in Schleswig and Eckernförde to school and back home again in the afternoon. This means no additional travel time for you. The daily service can be booked individually.
